  • Ingredients
  • 1 pound collard greens
  • ¼ teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice


  • Directions
  • Wash hands thoroughly with warm water and soap. Wash fresh vegetables before preparing.
  • Remove stems and slice greens.
  • Place in double boiler or steaming basket. Steam for 8 minutes.
  • Sprinkle with basil and lemon juice before serving.
  • Serve immediately.
