  • 1 pound collard greens
  • ¼ teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

  • Stove
  • Double Boiler or a Steaming Basket

Method
 

  1. Directions
  2. Wash hands thoroughly with warm water and soap. Wash fresh vegetables before preparing.
  3. Remove stems and slice greens.
  4. Place in double boiler or steaming basket. Steam for 8 minutes.
  5. Sprinkle with basil and lemon juice before serving.
  6. Serve immediately.
