finely chopped onion

curry powder
1/4
teaspoon
ground ginger

ground cinnamon
Salt and pepper to taste
about 1/4 teaspoon each
Optional Additions
Fresh basil leaves
Fresh cilantro leaves
Fresh mint leaves
Lime wedges
Sauce
1
cup
honey
1/4
cup
Dijon mustard
1/2
teaspoon
curry powder
1/2
teaspoon
ground ginger
Instructions
Wash hands with warm water and soap for 20 seconds.
Combine egg, bread crumbs, chopped onion, curry powder, ground ginger, cinnamon, salt, and pepper
Add turkey; mix lightly but thoroughly. Shape into 1-inch balls.
Place meatballs on a greased rack in baking pan, or line with tinfoil.
Bake until cooked through and juices run clear, about 20-25 minutes.
Meanwhile, combine sauce ingredients in a small saucepan; whisk over medium heat until heated through.
Brush meatballs with 1/4 cup sauce; return to oven for 10 minutes.
Serve meatballs with remaining sauce for dipping and, if desired, fresh herbs and lime wedges.
Notes
Ground turkey is a great alternative to beef that is low in saturated fat!
